    From Wikipedia:

Doggerel is a derogatory term for verse considered of little literary value. The word probably derived from dog, suggesting either ugliness, puppyish clumsiness, or unpalatability (as in food fit only for dogs). "Doggerel" is attested to have been used as an adjective since the fourteenth century and a noun since at least 1630.

The following may have little literary value, but it is not derogatory and our dog is most certainly not clumsy or ugly! Perhaps we should campaign to have the term revised to 'camelism'... anyway here goes:

    What's in a name?
When I growl, I'm known as 'Stroppy'.
When I'm tired, they call me 'Floppy'.
With my hangdog look I'm 'Soppy'.
But my real name is POPPY!

She was just a spaniels daughter
and she new she shouldn't oughta'
    after a long roam
    her bowl at home
    she drank the puddle water!

Ah! I feel better now, better get back to work. Anyone got any better (printable) ones?

Very good. Way better than I could manage. Of course now I need to go off and see if I can come up with anything I can post on a family friendly site

I started at the bottom and I like it here
