    Tow path walks

We live on the Grand Union canal... Recommend the Tow path as a great place to walk your dog

Back when I stayed in Bishopbriggs, just north of Glasgow I was near the Forth and Clyde Canal and the tow path was always a good place for a walk. I've not been there in years. Now I have a cycle path near me that is on an old railway line and it has a similar feel.

You might have seen the bloggs on our charity paddle for Guide dogs, involving negotiating the 32 miles of the Chesterfield canal. I'm fancying walking it this summer. My current walking partner is Amber, a lurcher, still very fit for a 13 year-old, but it's a bit much to expect for her. I might have to borrow one!
