Making the most of being confined to quarters.

As I posted Sam has a slight rupture to her cruciate ligament. We are seeing a specialist on Monday and she will probably be getting an operation. It can heal with rest but an operation gives a shorter recovery period and a stronger result. I of course still have a broken foot with a stooky on it.

So when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. No long Saturday walk for us but the bed sheets were going in the washing and I had a magazine to read.

Sam does not get in the bed usually but when the sheets are due for a wash she sometimes is allowed up in the morning as a special treat. As a result she really makes the most of it. She takes lounging about to a whole new level. I can only aspire to reach such zen like levels of relaxation.

We can't lie in all the time so we will need to find some more indoor, low impact, pastimes.

Jo took the pictures. She was having to go out early for a haircut. Had it not been for that appointment I suspect she would have been having a lie in too.

I ended up having a relatively active day with a trip to the shopping mall with the girls then a short walk along the cycle track with Sam later. Still itching to get back to full mobility though.
