A hiccup in the recovery, actually more of a cough.

Sam's recovery is continuing well, sort of. She is getting more active and harder to keep resting. She is not meant to be on the furniture but if you turn your back for a second

She is still managing without the Cone of Shame, although it still has its uses.

One issue though is that when she came back after the operation she had a bit of a sore throat. We assumed this was some irritation from the pipe that would have been in place during the operation. However, it seems to be getting worse. I'm starting to get concerned in case it is kennel cough. Other than the cough there is no sign of her feeling poorly but better safe than sorry so another trip to the vets today. Sam will probably be secretly pleased as at any excuse to get off the couch and out.

The Vet seems happy that Sam's cough is just due to the pipe that was in during the operation. So things are being left as they are and they will check her again on Friday when she has her staples out.
